About the webinar
Data capture during medical procedures has now become crucial for NHS trusts in the UK, ensuring that they provide accurate data for the outcome registries programme.
Scanning at the point of care through the Scan4Safety programme is the optimal method to capture data using GS1 standards. This helps to fulfil the recommendations of the 'First do no harm: report – the Independent Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Review', chaired by Baroness Julia Cumberlege.
In this webinar, we will be joined by Professor Tim Briggs, national director for clinical improvement and elective recovery at NHS England; and chair of the GIRFT programme, and Scott Pryde, programme director for the Outcomes and Registries Programme at NHS England. Each speaker will present their work on the Outcomes Registries Programme and the collaboration and support between different stakeholders.
