About the webinar
Simon White, NHS Scotland national programme director, will outline the background to the NHS Scotland Scan for Safety Programme as it enters it's third year.
With health being a devolved area from the UK government, taking a national approach to implementing a single system across the entire nation has its benefits, and its drawbacks. Simon's session will explore these areas in more detail as he makes unique comparisons to point-of-care scanning implementation in Scotland versus other UK programmes.
What you will learn
This session will explore the achievements to date, the rollout of scanning into pilot sites, including the adoption of GS1 standards, what was learned following these pilot exercises, as well as the challenges to be faced by the programme between now and completion of the implementation activity in 2026.
