PPMA Show is the largest processing and packaging machinery exhibition in the UK. The event brings together the latest in processing and packaging machinery, robotics and industrial vision systems, complete with the latest innovations in materials, containers and packaging design.
It covers the full spectrum of the industry; including food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, household products and toiletries, building materials and supplies, pet care, micro-brewery and distilleries, FMCG, as well as contract packers and more.
GS1 UK partner, OAL (Olympus Automation), is hosting a panel discussion at 11am on the 26 September, with GS1 UK's Camilla Young, programme lead for QR codes powered by GS1.
The session, “Implementing the second barcode revolution on product packaging”, aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the introduction and implementation of QR codes on product packaging. It will explore the considerations involved, the underlying technology, and the consumer benefits, with a focus on practical insights and industry trends.
