About the forum
To improve patient safety and product traceability throughout both the supply chain and patient pathway, NHS central organisations are working collectively to introduce UK-wide Scan4Safety programmes.
As Scan4Safety continues to expand across the UK, healthcare leaders from NHS England, NHS Scotland and NHS Wales, joined the 'NHS Scan4Safety healthcare supplier forum' to update on plans for the rollout of their national programmes.
The forum also received the latest updates from the MHRA about the future regulation of medical devices and from NHS Supply Chain on their GS1 standards adoption strategy. This was followed by two presentations from global supplier, BD, and start up, mOm Incubators, sharing tangible takeaways from their own experiences.
