Subscribing to GS1 UK entitles the subscriber to use the GS1 Global Company Prefix number and other numbers issued to the subscriber by GS1 UK.
GS1 numbers are issued to the subscriber under a right to use agreement and are for use on the subscriber’s own items, locations and assets. GS1 numbers are non-transferable.
This application form is for Users (organisations which use GS1 barcodes and to identify their products, services, locations, assets, logistics units or service relationships) and Associations (non-pr making bodies such as trade associations and professional institutions).

Subscription to GS1 UK is based on an annual subscription. Your subscription type is explained above. The costs shown below are all subject to VAT at the standard rate.
- Starter 10 - Annual license £50
- Starter 100 - Annual license £100
- Turnover up to £0.5m – Annual license £119
- Turnover £0.5m – £1m – Annual license £131
- Turnover £1m – £10m – Annual license £203
Different rates apply for businesses with a turnover in excess of £10 million per annum.
