Bottom line: to sell your products you need a barcode. And for your barcode you need a unique GS1 number
When you get your numbers and barcodes through GS1 UK, you get a future-proofed, unique identification system that can save money and add value throughout your business.
GS1 numbers and barcodes are used everywhere – from in-store point of sale and online selling, right back up the supply chain to distributors, suppliers and manufacturers. And they’re used in healthcare these days too, on drugs, medical devices and even patients.
