Polytag technology enables packaging to be described, tagged and traced, in order to generate never-before-seen data about packaging as it transitions through the circular economy, and offer direct to consumer communication from on-pack label QR codes (serialised and non-serialised).
A Polytag account provides easy access to information – at barcode level - about packaging, and intuitive tools to manage packaging lifecycles and optimise and incentivise recycling.

A brand or retailer can easily set-up a Polytag company account, which will enable them to complete the following activities:
- Generate, print and store barcodes in QR code format (serialised and non-serialised). These QR codes are scannable at point of sale.
- Generate, print and store serialised QR codes to be scanned by any app in order to return price look-up information and redeem loyalty and rewards with confidence (anti-fraud and anti-theft)
- Build and host marketing and/or educational campaign content on landing pages linked to product QR codes, in order to enhance customer experience with rich product-specific content. Our QR codes are built to meet GS1 Digital Link standard and offer a range of analytics tools on a dashboard.
- Access never-before-seen data about packaging (at barcode level) as it transitions through recycling centres in order to inform sustainability strategy and EPR policies
