Export in four easy steps

Access the Export Function: 

Navigate to "Imports and Exports" in the side panel menu, then select the "Export" tab.

Select Export Options:

  • Choose your GS1 company prefix (if applicable).
  • Select the number type (typically GTIN-13).
  • Choose "Excel" as the file type (this is the only importable format).
  • Select your preferred language.
  • Specify the status of numbers to export (e.g., all, allocated).

Initiate Export: 

Click "Export."

Monitor Progress: 

Proceed to the "Monitor" screen (accessible via a button or the left-hand menu). Download the file once the export is complete. This file will serve as your template for importing.

Import in five easy steps

Prepare Your Data: 

Enter your product data into the exported Excel file. Do not remove or alter any column headers. Ensure all mandatory fields are completed accurately.

Access the Import Function: 

Navigate to "Imports and Exports" in the side panel menu, then select the "Import" tab.

Upload Your File: 

Either drag and drop your completed Excel file or click "Select" to browse and upload it.

Initiate Import: 

Click the red "Import" button.

Monitor Progress and Address Errors: 

Proceed to the "Monitor" screen. If errors occur, download the error report (under the "Actions" heading) to identify and correct issues in your Excel file before re-importing.

Please remember:

Only the Excel (.xlsx) file exported from My Numberbank can be re-imported.

Ensure all mandatory fields in the import file are complete and accurate.

Do not modify column headers in the import file.
