Export in four easy steps
Access the Export Function:
Navigate to "Imports and Exports" in the side panel menu, then select the "Export" tab.
Select Export Options:
- Choose your GS1 company prefix (if applicable).
- Select the number type (typically GTIN-13).
- Choose "Excel" as the file type (this is the only importable format).
- Select your preferred language.
- Specify the status of numbers to export (e.g., all, allocated).
Initiate Export:
Click "Export."
Monitor Progress:
Proceed to the "Monitor" screen (accessible via a button or the left-hand menu). Download the file once the export is complete. This file will serve as your template for importing.
Remember to download using excel file format as this is the only format that can be uploaded into My Numberbank
Import in five easy steps
Prepare Your Data:
Enter your product data into the exported Excel file. Do not remove or alter any column headers. Ensure all mandatory fields are completed accurately.
Access the Import Function:
Navigate to "Imports and Exports" in the side panel menu, then select the "Import" tab.
Upload Your File:
Either drag and drop your completed Excel file or click "Select" to browse and upload it.
Initiate Import:
Click the red "Import" button.
Monitor Progress and Address Errors:
Proceed to the "Monitor" screen. If errors occur, download the error report (under the "Actions" heading) to identify and correct issues in your Excel file before re-importing.
Please remember:
Only the Excel (.xlsx) file exported from My Numberbank can be re-imported.
Ensure all mandatory fields in the import file are complete and accurate.
Do not modify column headers in the import file.
Utilise the error report to troubleshoot import problems.
