DHSC to fund Acute Trust subscriptions to LocationManager

Following the success of the first six months of LocationManager, Trust subscription fees will now be centrally funded

In recognition of the successful launch of LocationManager earlier this year, the Department of Health has agreed to fund the subscriptions of Acute Trusts in England. This makes it easier for Trusts to sign up to the service and a phased approach for all Trusts to join is now being put into action.

Hundreds of suppliers have already subscribed to LocationManager and the need for the remaining suppliers to join is now even stronger. All suppliers to the NHS will be expected to use LocationManager to manage location information in the future.
