Check your barcodes
A big part of the Scan4Safety programme involves scanning barcodes to make sure the right product, is being used for the right procedure, for the right patient, in the right place. To do so, hospital staff need to be able to scan product barcodes at the point of care or use.
Sometimes the barcode isn't quite right so it cannot be used appropriately. To check your product barcodes are compliant, you can send us an image for verification.
