Accountabilities:


This role involves supporting the Finance team in delivering, and improving, the organisation's financial processes, contributing to our growth strategy.


Key responsibilities:


Accounts receivable
• Input and allocate member payments
• Create tickets for all customer queries in the finance mailbox and allocate them to the correct area until the process is updated. The new process will involve redirecting any finance tickets that have been assigned to the wrong customer, assign them correctly, and add an email address to the contact area for future correspondence
Additional
• Weekly review of various reports to help maintain the data integrity of our customers' accounts, including the identification of suspense items, unmatched items, correcting errors and investigating any unusual items
• Provide cover for other team members when they are out of the office
• Suggest and assist in the implementation of improvements in existing processes to enhance financial reporting and performance
• Other ad hoc duties as required

 

Person specification

Background and experience
• One years’ experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of accounting systems, customer relationship management systems and Microsoft 365
Desirable
• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping
• Comfortable Microsoft Excel skills

• Understanding of working within a finance team and dealing with large volumes of data
