GS1 UK is hosting the largest Healthcare Village at EHI Live
Join us at GS1 Healthcare Village at EHI Live for the 5th consecutive year
London, 28 September 2015 – GS1 UK is pleased to announce its participation for the 5th consecutive year at EHI Live, the UK’s largest digital health show. The event is taking place on 3 and 4 November in Birmingham, where more than 4,000 professionals will have the opportunity to discuss frontline use of healthcare technology.
GS1 UK is hosting a GS1 Healthcare Village for its accredited partners Axicon, Avantec, Hyland, Ingenica and Rivendale. We will also be joined by Accenture, who will host the Healthcare Village networking area. The delegates will have the opportunity to visit us at our GS1 Healthcare Village and learn more about how we work with healthcare providers and suppliers to provide improved patient safety, greater regulatory compliance and to drive operational efficiencies.
GS1 standards are now mandated in the Department of Health eProcurement strategy for use throughout the NHS, and their importance was reinforced by the interim Carter Review, which stated that their adoption will allow every NHS hospital in England to save an average of £3million each year, while improving patient care. While exhibiting at EHI Live, we will demonstrate all latest developments, current stages of implementation and true value to the NHS to the healthcare audience from around the UK.
