GS1 UK appoints Kim Ludlow as Solutions Director

GS1 UK appoints Kim Ludlow as Solutions Director, bringing valuable expertise in ecommerce and retail innovation to support the development of GS1 UK’s industry-led solutions and standards

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Ludlow to the new role of solutions director. Kim is charged with managing the organisation’s growing solutions portfolio and its standards development activity with industry, leveraging her extensive experience in retail. She will also drive GS1 UK’s partnership strategy.

She joins at a vital time when our neutrality and expertise is increasingly being called on to support the retail and healthcare sectors in driving change. Our members see the importance of harmonising processes and standardising product information to facilitate trade with a growing range of partners - both locally and internationally. And in recent years GS1 UK has made good progress in developing solutions to support them.”

Kim joins GS1 UK from Brandbank, where she was Group Innovation Director. Prior to this, she headed up grocery comparison site Mysupermarket.com, having spent her early career at Tesco.
