1. Agreement to terms
By entering the YF x GS1 UK half-day immersion session competition, you agree to these terms and conditions.

The competition is being run by GS1 UK and YF.
3. Partnership overview
YF and GS1 UK are partnering to support founders. This initiative aims to provide meaningful benefits to GS1 UK members. The 'half-day supply chain immersion session with YF' aims to provide clarity on what matters, confidence in your next moves and a stronger operational foundation for growth.
4. Eligibility to enter
- The applicant must be a Founder, Co-Founder, MD, or CEO aged 19 or over.
- The business must be a brand or business scaling into retail.
- The business must be registered on Companies House UK.
- Generating between 1-10K in annual turnover.
- UK residents and registered businesses only.
5. How to enter
Entry is free of charge. To enter, participants must have completed the submission form provided by GS1 UK to be considered for the programme. Only one entry per company is allowed.
6. Entry period
The competition starts on Tuesday 24 February 2026 and closes on Monday 16 March 2026 depending on the number of applicants.
7. The prize
There are three places for three separate eligible applicants on offer.
The winners will receive a half-day supply chain immersion session with YF (worth £4,000). The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available.
8. Winner selection and notification
The winners will be selected at random by YF from all eligible entries and notified by email no later than 23rd March. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, another winner will be selected.
10. Data protection and publicity
Entrants agree to have their data shared between GS1 UK and YF for administering the opportunity. The winner agrees to the publication of their first name and business. All data will be handled in accordance with GS1 UK's privacy policy.
11. General
YF and GS1 UK reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The competition and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
