Terms and conditions for 'Win a spot on Product Guru's UK RoadTrip'

1. Agreement to terms

By entering the GS1 UK competition (the “Win a spot on Product Guru's UK RoadTrip"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.


2. Organiser

The competition is organised by GS1 UK, Hasilwood House, 60 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AW.


3. Competition overview

GS1 UK will select up to 10x members within the health and beauty sector to take part the UK leg of Product Guru's RoadTrip.


4. Eligibility to enter
 

To be eligible to enter the competition, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:


-Be a UK‑registered health and beauty business
-Be retail ready, with products and packaging suitable for a physical retail environment
-Have products priced appropriately for retail sales
-Have all relevant compliance measures in place for their product category
-Hold valid health and hygiene certification for sampling

GS1 UK reserves the right to request evidence of eligibility at any stage.


5. How to enter

Entry is free of charge. To enter, participants must complete the competition submission form provided by GS1 UK within the entry period. Only one entry per business is permitted.


6. Entry period

Competition launch: Week commencing 26 May 2026
Competition closing date: Friday 19 June

Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.


7. Shortlisting and selection process

GS1 UK will review all eligible entries after 19 June 2026. GS1 UK will select the final winners from the shortlisted applicants. Final winner selection will be completed by 26 June 2026.


8. The prize

There are ten prizes available. Each winner will receive:

A space to place their products on Product Guru's RoadTrip van. This is a mobile retail activation designed to help brands efficiently connect directly with leading UK retailers, wholesalers and distributors.

Running from June - December 2026, the tour will visit 8–12 major retailers, bringing products directly into buyer offices.


The prize:

Is non‑transferable
Cannot be exchanged for cash
Must be accepted as awarded

 

9. Costs


Winners will not be charged for participation but remain responsible for their own stock, travel, and any additional operational costs.

A success fee of £295 applies only if a direct commercial connection with a buyer is established through the programme, payable by the participating brand.


10. Winner notification


Winners will be notified by email using the contact details provided during entry. If a selected winner does not respond within 5 days of notification, GS1 UK reserve the right to select an alternative winner.


11. Data protection and publicity


By entering the competition, entrants agree that their data may be shared between GS1 UK and Product Guru for the purposes of administering the competition. Winners agree to the publication of their business name and brand for promotional purposes. All personal data will be processed in accordance with GS1 UK’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.


12. General

GS1 UK reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the competition and these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. GS1 UK's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
