As a GS1 Consulting Partner, we help retailers and retail-software vendors turn GS1 standards into working store systems, moving from readiness assessment through production integration and delivery on live POS estates. 

With 18 years of retail focus and work across more than 35 brands, we design, build, integrate, quality assure, and support business-critical store systems. 

Our integration practice spans POS, self-checkout, loss prevention, loyalty, payments, digital receipts, DRS solutions, and ecommerce - the boundaries where GS1 data quality, regulatory compliance, and customer experience typically break down. 

Our GS1 offers are packaged around three areas: Sunrise 2027 POS implementation, GS1 2D and Digital Link integration, and GS1 data foundations covering product, location, fulfilment, and traceability. 

Each engagement combines accredited people, defined delivery methods, governed evidence, and measurable outcomes across supplier, distribution centre, store, and POS boundaries. 

We treat software and scanner readiness as separate tracks: POS logic must correctly parse GS1 application identifiers, DataBar, and Digital Link, while scanner estates need verification for 2D imaging capability. 

Our field-tested approach validates baseline GTIN lookup, DataBar handling, automatic markdowns, and Digital Link behaviour, with barcode, till, and receipt evidence captured in store before wider rollout. 

UWorx has delivered live GS1 2D-barcode integration work across a leading global POS platform's customer estate, giving retailers a de-risked route from pilot to core deployment.
