Bar Code Data's MilkTrack360 solution ensures babies in neonatal intensive-care units (NICU) and intensive care nurseries (ICN) are protected from incorrect feeding, safeguarding the mother and child by ensuring the mothers expressed milk is kept safe until needed.
The system ensures donated milk, once pasteurised, is tracked and labelled to deliver the best possible nutrition to the recipients.
Our solution uses effective barcode driven technology to identify and match expressed breast milk to both mother and child. The solution is a secure feeding/milk management system developed to ensure every baby in the NICU/ICN receives the correct breast milk, donor milk, or formula, risk-free at the bedside.
Using barcoding/wristband labelling as a technology, the system offers many advantages over manual verification processes, decreasing human error, saving time.
The solution offers reporting for NICU and ICN staff to accurately automate audits assisting patient care, deployed in hospitals/intensive care units.
