Patient safety is at the heart of what we do and runs through all of our work. We have been involved with Scan4Safety since its formation and have worked across many organisations to help develop and implement it. We link product data to traceability, product recall and point of care scanning, underpinned by GS1 standards and built on a baseline of people, process and technology.
We assess where an organisation is and measure its maturity across a range of supply chain factors, using discussions, on-site assessment and data capture. We are not reliant on the technology an organisation already has. We can provide digital tools from day one to capture product data wherever it sits, working alongside or ahead of existing infrastructure. That lets us match the right support to an organisation's strategy and to what it already has in place.
Our areas of focus follow that maturity.
Foundation and evidence. Building the business case and the baseline, including year-end stock counts and a detailed capture and valuation of what an organisation holds ahead of inventory management.
Implementation and readiness. Getting ready to go live, starting with master data. We capture product and barcode data to GS1 standards so it links correctly into the catalogue and the electronic patient record.
Assurance and visibility. For organisations already on the journey. Measuring where they are, showing where to improve, and covering areas such as expiry and wastage they may not yet capture.
Intelligent optimisation. Bringing category and regional intelligence together to support larger, more strategic decisions across sites and regions.

From there we can set up an on-site capture and review of an area, and show the process, methodology and technology behind the assessment.
