Suppliers that are subscribed to LocationManager can now get access to the GLNs that identify their Trust customers, allowing for accurate electronic Purchase to Pay transactions.
GS1 UK is very pleased to announce the successful upload onto LocationManager of all legal entity Global Location Numbers (GLNs) for NHS Acute Trusts in England. The deadline for brand owners, suppliers and distributors of medical devices, IVDs and medicines to subscribe to LocationManager has already passed. If you haven’t already, please show your commitment to meeting the Department of Health and Social Care requirements by subscribing to LocationManager now.
Later this year, a significant upgrade of LocationManager will be released. Benefits will include:
- better search functionality
- improved data governance from Trusts
- increased accuracy of bill-to and ship-to location connectivity
- Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) will be available to allow speedy data transfer by larger Trusts and suppliers
