eBay UK Seller Release Spring 2018

If you're an eBay UK Seller, make sure you're 
up-to-date with their latest release for Spring 2018.

eBay regularly update their pricing and subscriptions to meet changing demands and this new release will impact all types of sellers, to some degree. There are fee changes & subscription updates, fee changes for private sellers, updates on delivery and returns and also for eBay international sites.

What's new for pricing and subscriptions in 2018

  • The final value fee in the Vaporizers (183494) and E Cigarettes, Vapes & Accs (183497) categories will be 11%
  • The final value fee in the Video Games & Consoles (1249) category will be 8% with the exception of the Video Games Consoles (139971) category which will remain at 5% with a £20 maximum
  • For items that have been listed in two categories, the higher of the two final value fees will be charged
  • For sellers whose level is Below Standard, there will be an additional 4 percentage points fee on the standard final value fees at the time the item sells

eBay are making changes to Shop subscriptions and some category selling fees. These take effect from 1 April 2018 which means you still have time to review and adjust for your business needs. 

There is also new insights and tools for you in Seller Hub and updates to HTTPS security. And eBay also remind sellers of the importance of VAT obligations.
