Accountabilities

GS1 UK enables collaboration across industries through trusted, global data standards. In construction, our mission is to support a safer, more transparent and efficient built environment by helping organisations identify, share and use reliable product and asset information.

The construction sector is undergoing a period of significant change, driven by new regulation such as the Building Safety Act and Construction Products Regulation, as well as growing demands for sustainability, traceability and digital transformation.

The Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the sector, building our membership base and amplifying GS1 UK’s influence across the entire construction supply chain, from manufacturers and distributors to contractors, asset owners and government bodies.

To ensure clarity of direction and impact, the role will contribute across all construction growth priorities but will have a particular focus on supporting the adoption of GS1 standards for asset identification, including how these enable improved asset management, traceability and digital record-keeping.
