Today, we help a community of over 60,000 businesses uniquely identify, describe and track people, products and places everywhere. We proactively collaborate with members, industry, stakeholders and regulators to harness the power of standards to transform the way people work and live, helping them to find solutions to the key challenges of today whilst preparing for those of tomorrow.
We are now looking for a new chief marketing officer who will help us on the next stage of our growth journey.
In this role, you will play a central role in the delivery of our purpose and strategy, applying world-class strategic marketing approaches to reach, influence and ultimately help GS1 UK members, industry, regulators, and consumers through access to standards. Success will translate to a growing loyal membership who understand the value of what we do; greater collaboration with key stakeholders that makes a difference; and a substantial increase in brand recognition beyond our traditional markets.
With a genuine interest in our work and our members, you will be a customer-centric, collaborative chief marketing officer who is accustomed to working across organisational and geographical boundaries to build brands and businesses, disseminating thought leadership, shaping agendas and bringing people together in support of profitable growth and influence. A well rounded, inspiring leader, your industry leading skill set (gained across numerous industry sectors) and sharp intellect, coupled with agility, tenacity and energy, will enable you and your team to respond to market dynamics and opportunities to maximise business results and impact.
