Having good quality product information is important for your business and for your customers, whether your product is being sold online, in supermarkets or used in hospitals.
That’s why GS1 UK provides you with My Numberbank, where you can access your unique range of GTINs, allocate them to specific products and enter basic product information.
To help you manage your data effectively, we’ve included a status bar which will flag with the following colours when information is missing:
Red - the bar will be red if you’re missing important attributes.
Yellow - if the information is partially filled in then the bar will turn yellow.
Green - if the information is complete, the bar will turn green.
Once all attributes have been successfully updated, the status bar for that product should appear green meaning you are now ready to start sharing accurate, complete and trusted product data with your customers.
If any of the missing attributes requested aren’t relevant for your product, for example including a Manufacturer Part Number for shampoo, just enter N/A for not appropriate.
