Our annual member meet-up and AGM is an important date in the diary.
All our members are invited to hear our plans and to learn more about our support for industry through our standards and services. This year we’re pleased to announce that we have a great programme of speakers lined up for you.
Registration is from 4.00pm, we’ll start the AGM at 4.10pm, and the annual member meet-up will follow from 4.35pm. Highlights of this include:
- A review of the year – Gary Lynch, CEO, GS1 UK
- Retail futures – An insightful and informative view of the future of retail – from PA Consulting
- The power of standards – How GS1 standards transform the way we work and live – Paul Reid, Head of Standards, GS1 UK
- Digital DNA – Transforming product data management for today’s grocery world – Jim Dickson, Head of Grocery, GS1 UK
We’ll be joined by leading retailers and brands during the session, so everyone can learn from their experiences and hear their views on the challenges they face – and how GS1 standards and services can help solve them.
We’ll also be presenting the third annual GS1 UK champion awards – recognising our members who have done the most during the past year to help develop and promote the use of GS1 standards, for the benefit of their industries. The member meet-up will be fast-paced, interactive and possibly even fun! All our members and business partners are invited to attend.
We’ll finish by 6.15pm and then you’re welcome to stay a while longer, networking with your peers and GS1 experts over drinks and a buffet reception.
