The deadline for the prestigious HSJ Awards is fast approaching but it’s not too late for you to enter, final submissions need to be with HSJ by 3 June 2016.
The HSJ awards are a great opportunity for your organisation to be recognised for the work it’s been doing, and GS1 UK are proud to sponsor the Patient Safety award again this year.
We’ve included a few tips from HSJ below on how to increase your chance of winning:
- Preparation is key. Read the criteria carefully and allow yourself plenty of time to develop a well thought-out entry.
- Remember you can enter more than one category – doing so will increase your chances of winning! But ensure that you address the criteria with each entry – the categories have individual requirements. View the full list of categories
- Ensure you back up your claims with evidence. Judges are looking for entries that have good data. For example five measurable results of your actions that support your entry, key actions that were taken to achieve your result and feedback from those affected by your project
- Keep a backup of your entry. Sometimes past entrants have lost their hard work having not hit save before they submit or exit, so make sure you save your entry regularly and keep a copy on file just in case
