Preventing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) through innovations in procedures and cutting-edge technology

Learn from industry experts at the Infection Control, Sterilization & Decontamination in Healthcare Congress

25 and 26 February 2016, Radisson Blu Edwardian, London Heathrow

Infection prevention and control has become one of the prime concerns in healthcare owing to an increased awareness of patient safety and the considerable burden of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Invasive devices, poor post-operative status and lack of standardized decontamination of surgical instruments are some of the major challenges in preventing infections in healthcare facilities.

Earlier, the cost of HAIs was borne by patients. However, recent changes have mandated healthcare organisations to bear these costs. The costs incurred by drug-resistant infections amount to an estimated EUR1.5 billion annually.

Infection Control, Sterilization and Decontamination in Healthcare Congress, organised by MnM conferences, is being held on 25 and 26 February 2016 in London Heathrow and will provide a platform for industry leaders to discuss and brainstorm the ongoing advancements and challenges for better sterile environment in hospitals.
