Lord Prior confirmed as the keynote speaker at our annual healthcare conference and exhibition
Building on the success of our recent two day healthcare conference, we’re pleased to announce our next conference and exhibition will be held on 12 and 13 April 2016 at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel. And headlining the conference will be Lord Prior, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for NHS Productivity.
The event will showcase the work of the six selected demonstrator site acute Trusts, whose implementation of GS1 standards will be funded by the Department of Health. These will be announced in December 2015, and will demonstrate the true costs, challenges, resultant opportunities and benefits that arise from adopting the core enablers and primary use cases for GS1 standards.
The conference will include keynote presentations from senior financial, procurement and IT directors from the demonstrator sites and other leading NHS Trusts, who will share their expertise and experience on a range of topics including patient safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and transparency - and will focus on the real-life benefits of the adoption of GS1 standards.
We look forward to building on the great success of our recent conference, which showcased real-life best examples of NHS trust implementation of GS1 standards and provided a unique environment for Trusts to share their experiences with other providers."
