Being able to identify, track and trace pharmaceuticals and medical devices is crucial for an efficient supply chain and essential for patient safety. To support this, GS1 Standards are approved by regulatory bodies around the world to enable suppliers to meet local legislation.
Requirements for the Unique Device Identification in the US, the Falsified Medicines Directive, EU Medical Device Regulation and many more regulations around the world can be met through the adoption of GS1 identification, barcode and data standards. GS1 standards are also mandated by the Department of Health and Social Care.
This interactive, practical course will take you step-by-step through how to meet different countries’ requirements using our standards, regardless of the type or class or product you supply.
You can bring in examples of your products and labels to make the session even more interactive.
If you have a number of staff for whom this course would be useful, or if travelling to London is too difficult, contact us to arrange delivery of this course onsite.
