Get involved with developing EDI in the UK

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) – using GS1 standards – is a fundamental business process used by thousands of businesses in the UK and globally. It’s essential for ordering, delivering and paying for goods efficiently.

Our EDI Standards and Implementation Group (ESIG) is a forum where GS1 UK members meet to look at how EDI supports business processes – and this is your chance to join.

As a member of ESIG you’ll benefit from meeting and working with your peers from other companies – enabling your own development and learning. ESIG also provides guidance and creates best practice guidelines for the UK on how to implement specific EDI messages such as orders and ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notices).

If you – or a colleague – want to join then we want to hear from you. If you use EDI within your business then please forward this email to your EDI lead. ESIG is open to any GS1 UK member who is interested in understanding how EDI can benefit them. If you’re interested in finding out more please complete this very quick questionnaire and we’ll get in touch.
