Data and insights analyst

Accountabilities:

Creating a data and insights driven culture that aligns membership data activity to our purpose, strategy, vision and values. Deliver insights that will drive business decisions, forecast membership and deliver segmentation of our base to target future services/products. Through insight ensure the business can drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure our membership data presents one version of the truth
  • Responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of our member data
  • Making data digestible for everyone that needs it
  • Educate and guide colleagues on how member data can be used to support business decisions
  • Predicting risk areas and supporting a risk-based approach
  • Sharing key messages from data and analysis
  • Provide accurate insight and statistics for inclusion in reports, and produce results that improve company awareness of current events and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular insight reviews with the broader teams to discuss insight requirements and needs
  • To achieve predefined performance targets and to contribute towards achieving the service level targets of the member support team
  • To carry out other duties as agreed with your line manager

Person specification

Background and experience

  • Experience as a go-to resource for data within a department or large team
  • Ability to interpret data to help inform business decisions
  • Experience of presenting data and analysis at all levels
  • Proven experience working with various data visualisation solutions and tools
  • Database management tools knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills and competence
  • Experience of being a team player with the ability to support a wider team

Desirable

  • Knowledge of GS1 systems and standards
  • Netsuite and/ or Hubspot experience
