Accountabilities:
To develop and lead a partnership programme that grows the real-life impact of standards adoption across UK industry. As a visible leader, lead our collaboration with partners to solve real business problems and realise the opportunities created through the utilisation of GS1 standards. Amplify our reach across multiple markets, deepening our insight and our impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop our partner programme to maximise the opportunity of the transition to QR codes powered by GS1.
- Develop our partner programme to drive the penetration of GS1 standards into the construction market and to grow our presence within retail and healthcare markets.
- Deepen existing partner relationships and develop and enhance the GS1 UK partner value proposition, including through appraising new market opportunities.
- Build high-value, rich relationships that deepen our impact, relevance, and reach including with software services, industry technology providers, consultancies and technology implementors and integrators.
- Develop strong market insight to shape GS1 UK engagement priorities to support standards and services developments. Agree and implement the framework for training, accreditation and certification
- Raise the profile of GS1 UK and our standards in action through inclusion in key campaigns
- Establish GS1 UK as reference site for standards adoption, sharing best practice with GS1 global colleagues as required
- Meet the KPIs for partner income and numbers, maximising revenue opportunities
Person specification:
Essential:
Background and experience
- A first-class track record of collaboration and getting the best out of others.
- Track record of operating at senior levels of industry – specifically in a retail and/or healthcare context
- Proven ability to shape, influence and – where needed – lead collaborative, transformational change.
- Experience of leading consulting activity and teams
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally and in a matrix organisation
- A good understanding of systems and technologies used in the supply chain retail, and/or healthcare
- Disciplined curiosity – a desire to explore new opportunities, done in a purposeful, thoughtful, structured way.
- Commercial experience with a particular focus on growth – to ensure current programmes continue to drive value

- Knowledge of GS1 system and standards
- Experience of developing and leading partner programmes

- Knowledge and experience of working in the UK healthcare market
