GS1 Applied is a service to help small and medium sized businesses take full advantage of GS1 standards. It’s fast, simple and affordable.
Many of our new members only use our standards to bar code their products, but GS1 standards can help you do much more including:
- identify packs, pallets and even shipping containers
- automate your orders, deliveries and invoices
GS1 Applied will help you go beyond product bar codes and enable you to reap the benefits of our other standards.
How GS1 Applied works
We’ve designed this service around your company’s needs and the needs of your customers. One of our highly qualified consultants will spend ½ a day at your company to review your business and provide advice on what benefits our standards can provide.
We’ve already worked with Levantine, a specialist nut roasting supplier, to help them improve how they manage their stock. Since using GS1 Applied, they’ve introduced a bar coding system that has transformed their stock management system and helped them reach new customers.
