Bulk Upload Help

You now have the ability to upload your descriptions to the Numberbank in a CSV file format with the following rules:

• The uploaded file must have a .csv extension
• It will need to be in the same layout as the downloaded one, available via the "Download to Excel" button
• There is a limit of 256 characters for each description (any characters over this will be truncated when uploaded)
• Once uploaded files will be processed in the background and you will be emailed when it is complete - it may take several minutes to process

Please note, before uploading your descriptions in Excel, you will need to reformat the column containing your numbers as Excel truncates it automatically

Steps to bulk upload your descriptions to My Numberbank

1. Before using it, you should Download to Excel your existing numbers which should open in a spread sheet
2. Reformat the number column to be "Number" Category (also select 0 decimal places)
3. Save the document as a CSV on your PC/Laptop, then add your descriptions
4. When you are ready, upload your descriptions
5. You will receive an email when the upload is complete
