| | We recently had an application to use RFID tags in plastic formers for use above windows in domestic new builds. The manufacturer of the product had previously spent a lot of time and money on site looking in to issues where the former had failed, only to find that in fact it wasn't their product, but a cheap copy. The only way to identify the former was to remove the brickwork to access it. Now they are able to use a hend held scanner with an RFID engine to identify the product as theirs, and if there is an issue they have full traceability. |
