Job Title: Industry Development Manager
Reports to: Manager, Industry Development
Level: Senior Executive
Direct reports: None
Key responsilbilities include Create and deliver member benefit from growth in the use of GS1 standards and GS1 UK services and solutions through industry group facilitation, business case creation, account management, solution partner, online and community deployment programmes.
This role would be ideal for someone with:
- A demonstrable ability to gain a detailed understanding of key accounts needs and industry trends.
- Proposition building, benefits case creation.
- First-rate facilitation skills
- Solution provider/channel management
- Strategic/consultative selling capability Proven track record of developing complex sales and/or significantly increasing penetration in established markets within the retail grocery industry.
- First class executive level contacts and established relationships within the retail grocery industry Major account management and key relationship building at a senior level Good understanding of industry dynamics that affect the GS1 UK solutions Experience of data management, data services and data quality Familiarity with the GS1 system would be beneficial

Position: Marketing & PR Executive
Level: Executive
Location: Central London
Salary: Competitive (details available upon application)
This role will help to create, implement and oversee marketing communications programs that effectively describe and promote GS1 UK and its products and services across online and offline activity.
Key responsilbilities include creating, implementing and overseeing marketing communications programs that effectively describe and promote GS1 UK and its products and services across online and offline activity whilst positioning the business as a leader and authority in its’ field of operation.
This role would be ideal for someone with:
• Professional marketing qualification - CIM, CAM desirable
• Marketing and or business degree with minimum 2:1 classifcation
• Ability to write exceptional and compelling copy for both online and offline communication
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills with ability to work well in team environment
• 3-5 years experience in similar role
• Self-motivated with good time management skills
• An expert written and oral communicator with an eye for design
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good word processing skills with experience in MS office software packages
• Excellent command of English, expert writing skills, editing and proof reading abilities
